Chassis/Trailer Mechanic - Portland, OR

North West Container Services has an opening for a chassis/trailer mechanic at it's Portland, OR facility. This position will be responsible for:

  • Performing FHWA inspections
  • Troubleshooting air brake and electrical issues
  • Some tire work
  • Rebuild, or replace landing legs
  • Some welding and torch cutting

This position will work from a service truck. Employee must provide his/her own small tools and a valid driver's license. Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, possess a high school diploma or GED and have some knowledge of air brakes and electrical.
