AUSTIN FRONT END LOAD SERVICES

Our Front End Load commercial waste containers come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Available in both flat top and slant top styles, please consult the dimensions and enclosure requirements below to ensure you have the space necessary to accommodate a sturdy steel Waste Connections container. FRONT END LOAD CONTAINER ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS:

PAD – Minimum inside dimensions are 12’ wide and 12’ deep. Concrete must be 3000 p.s.i., steel-reinforced and 6” thick. Top of pad must be at ground level with a concrete apron at least 4’ long.

GATE OPENING – Recommended minimum is 12’ hinge to hinge. Gates must open 180˚ (Hinges should be on outside of wall). To prevent the wind from causing damage during service, a gate stop should be located 135˚ from closed position.

ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS

Our trucks need room to work. ​ Front-loader trucks are approximately 32’ long when carrying the container. ​

Casters and locking devices are also available to help make your commercial waste containers more manageable and secure.

Advantages of Roll-Off Containers:

  • Convenient
  • Cost-Efficient
  • Containment of allowable garbage and debris
  • Saves you from hauling garbage to the landfill

Please note: Please do not over-fill dumpsters as they must be level across the top. The maximum load weight limit for the roll-off container is ten (10) tons or 20,000 pounds of material. In the event Customer loads over ten tons into the roll-off container, Customer shall be liable for any fines or additional overweight fees incurred. Customer agrees that Waste Connections has the right to charge a fee of $150 for problems with delivery or pick up dealing with the roll-off container, such as being overloaded or unable to access.

Safety Tips:

Containers should never be positioned underneath overhead power lines to avoid danger of electrocution

Toxic, hazardous, liquids, or flammable materials are not allowed in the containers

Do not overload the containers. If can is filled over the top, we cannot dump.

Containers can be placed on a driveway or concrete slab

Keep children away from all containers

Before ordering a container, it is wise to measure the area where you want the roll-off driver to unload the container and to check that there are no overhead hazards like power lines and tree branches.
