Anderson Regional Landfill

Anderson Regional Landfill is a modern municipal solid waste disposal facility permitted by the DHEC and is in full compliance with state rules and regulations.

Anderson Regional Landfill is located near Big Creek road in Belton South Carolina. The landfill entrance is located on Rector road.

The site accepts municipal solid wastes, construction/demolition wastes and special wastes with proper approval.

We can provide transportation and disposal services for municipal solid waste, industrial waste, and special wastes including asbestos, and non-hazardous contaminated soils. As well as transportation and disposal services for construction and demolition wastes including transportation of large demolition projects using walking floor trailers.

FAQ

What do we do?

We are a regional landfill that serves the upstate area of South Carolina. We are a subtitle D landfill that accepts Municipal Solid Waste for disposal in an environmentally safe manner.

When are we open?

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM. – 4:00 PM.

Saturday, 7:30 AM. – 12:00 PM.

Can I bring my old paint, chemicals and/or cleaning supplies to the landfill?

No, these items must go to a chemical waste disposal facility.

What if I need to get rid of chemically contaminated soil and/or other contaminated material?

With proper documentation, we can accept some of these types of items. Please call the landfill and we will provide you information and instruction for disposing of “special waste.”

Is there a special price for Tires, E-Waste, White Goods, Batteries, Green Waste, Wood Waste, etc?

We do not accept E-Waste, Tires, Batteries, White Goods, Yard Waste, Liquid Waste or Hazardous Waste.

What is the price for a typical public load?

There is a minimum charge of $47 PER TON , which includes an environmental fee.

Does my load have to be covered/tarped?

YES, ALL loads must be covered/tarped and/or secured in such a manner that no waste or debris can fly out, fall out or become airborne in anyway. Uncovered/unsecured loads will be charged double, no exceptions. Trailers and cans need to also be tarped upon leaving the Landfill as well.

Can I come out to the landfill and salvage or pick through the trash?

No, salvaging or “picking” is not allowed at the landfill.

Do we take Checks, ATM or Credit Cards?

We accept checks as well as Debit / Credit Cards
