Making a Difference

The efforts of Waste Connections, our employees and our vendors are focused on helping local organizations that support children at risk, women at risk, racial equality, and veterans - to improve their quality of life.

Waste Connections Cares

Our Culture is One of Caring

We, at Waste Connections, go beyond supporting just our customers and our people. We are also fortunate to have the ability to improve the lives of the people and causes we are passionate about in our communities.

Annual Holidays Bike Build

Waste Connections employees, families, and friends assemble thousands of bicycles each year for local charities, first-responders and military bases during our Holidays Bike-building Drive. We’ve donated an estimated 65,000+ bikes to date.

Golf Classic for Kids

Our charity event raises over one million dollars annually to benefit specific non-profit organizations focusing mostly on youth, families and our military. Each year, we welcome vendors and friends who support the event from across North America to The Woodlands, home to Waste Connections’ principal administrative offices.

Employee Relief Fund

We help employees, and their immediate families, who have experienced significant financial hardship following a natural disaster or other catastrophic events. Since then, we’ve donated nearly $700,000 in funding.
