Time: Carts must be at the curb no later than 7:00 AM. Space carts 3 feet apart and 3 feet from any object. The front of the cart must be facing the street.

Household Garbage
Waste must be at the curb NO LATER THAN 7:00 am
- Waste must be placed in bags inside your 95 Gallon Trash Cart with the lid closed, otherwise it will not be collected.
- All kitchen/bathroom trash must be in carts on every collection day. Order an additional cart if your normal household trash will not fit in your cart.
- An overloaded cart will result in non-collection.
Bulk Waste
BULK, YARD WASTE,AND EXTRA TRASH: Items placed outside of the trash cart and collected every other week on your normal trash day.
You may place out up to four (4) yards of bulk, extra trash, and yard waste on your scheduled collection day.
Bulk waste includes waste not generated on a regular basis, including:
- Furniture (couch, table, mattress (must be bagged), box spring, desk, dresser, etc.)
- Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners – these items will not be collected by Waste Connections unless proof of freon evacuation is submitted and verified prior to collection date.
- Appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.)
- Hot Water Heaters - Must be drained.
- Fencing/Decking/Siding – please remove nails. Must be cut into 4' x 4’ sections.
- Loose Wood – must be tied and bundled in piles measuring no larger than 3' x 3' x 3’. Must be under 50 pounds
- Trampolines – broken down.
- Please call for exercise equipment as this will damage our trucks.
- Basketball goals (broken down into sections 4' or shorter, no concrete in base or poles).
- Carpeting/Flooring– cut into 4' lengths. Tie and bundle. Must be under 50 pounds.
- NO CONTRACTOR-PRODUCED WASTE WILL BE COLLECTED. This includes construction, demolition, and renovation material.
Yard Waste

· Grass clippings must be bagged.
· Limbs/Branches must be tied andbundled in piles measuring no larger than 3' x 3' x 3’. Must be under 50pounds.
· Christmas tree collection shall occur on the first collection day after the New Year. Trees cannot have any decorations or lights.
Disposal of Sharps
Needles, sharps and syringes may be disposed of in your normal trash by taking the following steps:
Secure in Containers
Seal them into a hard plastic or metal container (empty laundry detergent or bleach containers work well). Reinforce the lid with heavy-duty tape.
Label the Container
Label the container as containing needles, sharps or syringes.
Dispose of Container in Normal Trash
Please note that no loose sharps will be collected.
Unacceptable Materials
Never place any of these items in your carts. They can cause our trash trucks to catch on fire.

- Batteries
- Bricks
- Concrete
- Dirt
- Fertilizer
- Gasoline/Kerosene
- Hazardous Material of any kind
- Light Bulbs
- Medical Waste
- Motor or Cooking Oil
- Paint (liquid)
- Pesticides/Insecticides
- Pool Chemicals
- Rocks
- Tile
- Tires
- Waste generated by a private contractor for construction, demolition, remodeling, or landscaping services.
Do Not Bag Recycle
Collected weekly on your service day. Place only clean approved items inside your cart with the lid closed.
Acceptable Recycle Items: Keep it very simple and basic. If you are not sure if it can be recycled, most likely it cannot.
Acceptable items: clean cardboard, paper, plastics 1 and 2 which are water bottles, detergent bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.…, glass bottles, and steel and tin cans.
Unacceptable Recycle Items: Styrofoam, wood, grass, dirt, appliances/electronics, clothes, shoes, extension cords, and trash.
- InspectionsOur crews must inspect inside the recycle carts to ensure only allowable items are inside. If the recycle cart has trash or other debris, the container CANNOT be serviced.
- CardboardCardboard boxes must be broken down, bundled and tied to be collected with recycle. Boxes not broken down will be treated as trash on bulk collection weeks.
