Northeast LA Residential Trash Collection Services

Weekly residential trash collection is performed on Monday through Friday. You will be alerted of your scheduled residential garbage collection day when you begin service.

We’ll pick up a variety of container sizes from 30 gallons to 105 gallons.

Ensure your container is properly positioned for a seamless pickup
You should have your waste services container at the curb the night before it is scheduled to be picked up. Please set it within 3 feet of the curb the night before your day of service.
Holidays that might affect your Northeast LA trash service
Waste Connections of Louisiana does not provide residential garbage removal on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
Hazardous waste disposal
Please note that Waste Connections of Louisiana does not perform hazardous waste disposal as part of our residential trash collection service. However, some non-acceptable materials in residential containers are accepted via our roll-off service and at our White Oaks Landfill.

Placement
Roll-Offs should not be placed under power lines. Doing so puts Waste Connections vehicles and waste collection specialists in unnecessary danger.
Overload
To ensure you receive prompt and accurate roll-off service, it is vital that you DO NOT overload your roll-off container.
Toxic items
Some non-acceptable materials in residential containers are accepted via our roll-off service and at our White Oaks Landfill.
