This landfill is a municipal solid waste landfill operating under a permit issued by the State for the disposal of municipal solid waste. We are supported by our hauling company, We are a full service solid waste disposal company.
Three Rivers Landfill is a modern municipal solid waste disposal facility permitted by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and is in full compliance with Mississippi's rules and regulations.
Three Rivers Landfill is located on Hwy. 278 West, one and one half miles west of Hwy. 15 near Pontotoc, MS.
The site accepts municipal solid wastes, construction/demolition wastes and special wastes with proper approval.
We can provide transportation and disposal services for municipal solid waste, industrial waste and special wastes including asbestos, and non-hazardous contaminated soils, as well as transportation of large demolition projects. We also provide scrap tire recycling for residents (up to 25 per year) and small businesses (up to 40 per month).
We are very proud of our facility and we welcome the opportunity to address your disposal needs. Our focus is on customer service and safety. Three Rivers Landfill only accepts non-hazardous solid waste for disposal.
What do we do?

We are a subtitle D landfill. We accept non hazardous MSW and special waste.
When are we open to public?

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM. - 5:00 PM.
Saturday 7:00 AM. - 12:00 PM.
What do we take?

Normal household garbage, non-hazardous commercial waste, farm or agricultural waste, municipal solid waste, construction debris, concreate & asphalt, yard waste, tree branches, trunks, stumps, wood waste, soil, dead animals, non-hazardous industrial waste, wastewater treatment plant sludge, industrial sludges, industrial powders, contaminated soil, recyclable materials, and treated lumber. Some waste does require approval.
What is the price for a typical public load?

Landfill Host County (Pontotoc) - $11.00 per ton with a minimum of $5
Other authority counties (Calhoun, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Monroe, and Union) - $22 per ton with a minimum of $22
All other counties within our acceptance borders- $23 per ton with a minimum of $23.
Is there is a special price for Tires, E-Waste, White Goods, Batteries, Green Waste, Wood Waste, etc?

No extra charge, but we do not accept batteries.
Do we take Checks, ATM or Credit Cards?

We do except checks with an ID and 2 phone numbers. We plan to accept ATM and credit cards starting in February 2010.
