Volunteer Regional Landfill is a modern municipal solid waste disposal facility permitted by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and is in full compliance with TDEC rules and regulations.
Volunteer Regional Landfill is located approximately approximately 3 miles North of the Business District of the City of Oneida. The landfill entrance is located on Bear Creek Road.
The site accepts municipal solid wastes, construction/demolition wastes and special wastes with proper approval.
We can provide transportation and disposal services for municipal solid waste, industrial waste, and special wastes including asbestos, and non-hazardous contaminated soils. As well as transportation and disposal services for construction and demolition wastes including transportation of large demolition projects using walking floor trailers.

When are we open to public?
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM. - 4:00pm.
Saturdays and Sundays closed unless otherwise specified. Please contact office for more details.
What do we take?
Municipal solid waste, domestic waste, commercial waste, institutional waste, farming waste, bulky waste, landscaping and land clearing waste, industrial waste, construction and demolition waste, shredded automotive tires, dead animals and special wastes.
What is the price for a typical public load?
$55.70 per ton + tax ( 1 ton minimum charge )
Is there is a special price for Tires, E-Waste, White Goods, Batteries, Green Waste, Wood Waste, etc?
Same Pricing but we cannot take Whole Tires, Batteries or E-Waste. All white good must have refridgerants removed by a certified professional before being accepted.
What about bulky items?
Scott Co. residents $33/ton; McCreary Co. residents $42/ton (1 ton min. charge)
Do we take Checks, ATM or Credit Cards?
We take Cash and Checks.
